About the Woodland Trust

We want to see a country rich in native woods and trees, enjoyed and valued by everyone…

The Woodland Trust is the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity, committed to planting, protecting and promoting native woods and trees and the country’s remaining ancient woodland.

Our Public Affairs team works across many areas in the world of trees and woods; we lobby central and local government, influence planning and landscape changes, research and collate evidence around the latest woodland issues. We provide practical expertise in woodland management and care using our own woods as models and in partnership with others. Plus, we can help you raise a voice to defend and celebrate your woodland heritage.

Not sure what the fuss is about? Why not get down to the woods and see for yourself, your nearest wood could be closer than you think
