People’s Millions – vote today!

A quick post from our Scotland team for our mighty band of woodland-minded subscribers, who hopefully will be up for this action…

“We need your help to bring life to our woods in Livingston, West Lothian. For one day only, we’re competing in the People’s Millions to raise £50,000 to improve many of our woods in Livingston.

P6 pupils at Carmondean Primary School in Livingston had an artistic morning in the woods as part of their Art in Nature project. The children created artwork amongst the trees using natural materials, leaves, sticks and chalk.
The Woodland Trust Scotland is a finalist in the People’s Millions, where community groups have the chance to win £50,000 to fund community projects. We are appealing for votes so children like these can continue projects like Art in Nature, and so the local community can engage with their local woodland.

To help reconnect these children with their local woods all you need to do is pick up the phone and vote for our project before midnight tonight. The number is only released for one day – so please take this chance! Find out how on our website: http://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/learn/news-and-opinion/latest-news/peoples-millions-fundraising-challenge – and Thank You.
