Be a ‘face’ for Climate Revolution

We have been contacted by Vivienne Westwood and her action group Climate Revolution with an invite to all Woodland Trust supporters to join her in London this weekend to create a ‘face mob’.

Between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 2nd March go to 44 Conduit Street and have your ‘Face of War’ painted for free by British Artist Daniel Lismore and receive a personal, hand-written card from Vivienne Westwood.

The ‘Face of War’ is Vivienne’s symbol of the need for a Climate Revolution. Inspired by the ancient warrior queen Boudicca, she has used it extensively on her catwalks and wore it herself at the closing ceremony of the Paralympics. Now it’s your turn to wear it!

The Face of War is an expression that new change is needed. We want you to strut around showing the world that you want a different future, one that belongs to you.

Win a T Shirt

Vivienne wants your ‘faces’ to be seen everywhere in the city and online, so once painted up, you are encouraged to post images on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. The best picture will win a Climate Revolution t-shirt as worn by Lady Gaga, Georgia May Jagger and Kate Moss.

Don’t forget to tag Climate Revolution’s facebook page on your image or #climaterevolution #viviennewestwood on Instagram/Twitter to enter the competition. Follow all the action as it unfolds on Twitter @climate_rev_

Can’t get to London? – hey, get creative & paint each others faces. Vivienne’s inspirational picture is just a starting point.

Let the face mobbing begin!
