‘Trees are the filter – we are the fish’

Sometimes you hear someone speak and wish you could share it with the world. They just sum it up so perfectly that it seems a crying shame not to share their brilliance with someone else.

That’s why when this TEDx talk by David Milarch, co-founder of Archangel Ancient Tree Archive, started to do the rounds on Twitter at the same time that our shock and concerns over the recent Tree Preservation Order CLG fumbles were coming to light, it semed so poignant.

If you, like me, feel this is just a perfect explanation of why our ancient trees and forests across the world are so valuable for our basic survival, then please share this brilliance with someone you care for.

And a big thank you to David Milarch for doing this work and sharing his thoughts in a way we can pass it on.
