Sometimes people think that the Woodland Trust is just being dramatic when we say ‘Imagine a world without trees’. How totally preposterous! There are no places in the world like that… or are there?
When I saw this stark image of the North Korean city, Pyongyang by Damir Sagolj win the World Press Award, it illustrated perfectly what I see in my mind’s eye when we make that statement. A place where people and nature are segregated. Completely.
Personally, I was a little shocked to see such a place for people to live in – how about you?
